i have a save in a zip file beacuse i backed it up and somehow its a zip file how do i get the save back on my ps3? if it helps, its an mgs4 save. thanks in advance.

unzip it then put it on a usb then put it onto ps3.

just google 'web unzipper' or use stuffit/7zip or whatever program you have. |

winzip is a pc zip unzip program u dl and install on pc 4 use, wobzip is an online zip unzip program, no need 2 install, works perfect on psp btw. u have another choice, its for rar files, called winrar, so u got winzip, winrar, wobzip, and he 7 one, but research n learn about this kind of action.

cant you just extract the files using a pc? its waaayyy easier.

You can use Winrar , install it on your pc, extract the files and transfer to your ps3.

For all of you who keep saying you need those cirtain programs. You're wrong. Just right click and click on "Extract all....", or just drag the file(s) out of it or copy and paste. Not only that but those programs cost money. Get a free one. YOu only need them for rar ziped files. Windows(XP,Vista,7...) can unzip by itself.

Quote .. Winzip is not free. neither is WinRAR. the best i've used that is free, and awesome, is 7Zip. Step A: Go onto a browser on your PC Step B: Download 7zip. Step C: Install 7zip Step D: Extract the gamesave using 7Zip. Step E: Use your PSP or Flashdrive to get the extracted game save, and put it in the PS3. Step F: put the game save where it should be. i don't got a PS3, so you'll have to ask someone else Step G: Enjoy.

yeah.  7zip is forever, and a better user interface. anyway, whatever you want to use, as long as it has the ability to extract ZIP's. |
